As President and Mentor at OEC, Syed oversees the design and implementation of impactful educational initiatives aimed at fostering learning opportunities across Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral. He coordinates a wide-reaching network of volunteers to ensure the effective execution of various community-based projects. In this leadership role, Syed is responsible for guiding project planning, managing fundraising efforts, overseeing budget allocation, and cultivating strategic partnerships. Additionally, he monitors program delivery and maintains consistent communication with stakeholders to ensure transparency and long-term success.

As President of OEC, I led several key initiatives this year. We organized two major Educational Expos in Gilgit and Chitral, providing career guidance to around 200 students from grades 9 to 12. We also supported 70 underprivileged students from remote areas through scholarships and financial aid. I coordinated a two-day Student Camp in Gilgit focused on Technology, Wellbeing, and Leadership for 60 students. Additionally, I facilitated a dialogue on “Mass Tourism and Its Impact on Gilgit” with youth and experts. In response to recent floods, I led a Flood Relief Campaign, raising funds to support affected communities with essentials and educational supplies. Throughout the year, I continued managing volunteers, monitoring programs, and supporting students. This is my third term as President, and I will continue in this role until April 2026 with more initiatives planned.
