PPD Sessions for Freshmen Delivered by Industry Experts
The Preparation for Professional Development (PPD) course is designed to empower first-year students with the essential skills, tools, and strategies needed for successful career planning and professional growth during their Co-operative Education journey.
Through this course, students gain valuable insights into the professional world, helping them navigate their upcoming co-op placements with confidence and purpose. Each session features guest experts and HR professionals from leading organizations who share their real-world experiences, career advice, and workplace expectations.
So far, we have been honored to host experts from organizations such as Aga Khan Foundation Tajikistan, Accelerate Prosperity, the U.S. Embassy in Bishkek, and Companion Bank, who have shared their unique perspectives on professional success and employability.
By the end of the course, students will have developed the foundational knowledge and confidence required to participate effectively in the UCA Co-operative Education Program, setting the stage for a strong start to their professional careers after graduation.
